Skandinavisk Data Center (SDC) - new customer with Mark Information18/09/2014
SDC - the preferred choice for banks in the Nordic countries - has chosen ProMark
SDC is an it service partner for the financial sector in the Nordic countries. SDC's core business is the development and operation of banking applications, and they are the only ones delivering a common Nordic platform tailored to each country's national legislation and language. SDC has been on the market for finance IT solutions for over 50 years and has extensive experience in the operation and development of the entire pallette of systems and solutions that form the foundation for future banks.
SDC employing more than 530 employees at their headquarters in Ballerup as well as about 60 employees in subsidiaries in Denmark and Sweden, is owned by the customers and their clientele includes 124 banks in four Nordic countries.
The ProMark Workforce Management solution at SDC will include time, absence and project registration based on our latest portal technology and involves simple and easy reporting via thin clients. The turnkey project covers time and attendance, notifications, flexi-time and absence management with integration to NemRefusion, AX2012 and to the payroll system Multiløn-Business, as well as portal and management information including BI cubes and absence-KPI for their management.
The core of ProMark is simplicity! Simplicity is the key success factor for creating value when implementing time and attendance. An example is the simple yet full system support of the Time Bank agreement, combined with high ease of use. In connection with the introduction of the OK2012 agreement in the financial sector which included the Time Bank account - a common counting mechanism for personal days, senior holidays, flexi-time and overtime/extra work - ProMark has supported Gjensidige and Industriens Pension with a fully automatic solution since 2013 - and now also SDC.
The month calendar is an example of simplicity: A webpart in the ProMark portal where all registrations can be made whether it concerns T&A, absence or project registration.
Another example of simplicity for the user is the notifications which can advise any SDC manager (via mail or SMS) when there are deviations for approval. This means spending time on time registration only when needed - and ensures that the payroll basis is in place in time. Another type of notification could be following up on absence due to illness, where for instance the department heads are automatically asked via e-mail to follow up on the employee for example after 5 days of sick leave.
The project started up on 7 September and is to be in operation on 1 October in Denmark and subsequently to be implemented in Sweden!
