New features in ProTime
Reset the account balance on a month day
On the account set-up screen, a new reset method is made available. The selection is made by selecting a new option ‘On a month day’ in the field ‘Reset’. When that option is selected, it must also be specified which day in the month, the account is to reset. Other than resetting on a month day, the new method is equivalent to the existing reset method ’On a weekday’.
The sample screen illustrates an account configured to reset each month on the 17th at 3:00:00 o’clock.
Customer benefits:
This new feature adds more flexibility to the users handling of accounts balances, by adding the option of resetting the balance between payroll payments. Can also, for example, be used for handling bonus payments and flexitime.
This will also significantly reduce the amount of System Administration and set up.
Keep remaining balance
A new ‘advanced’ option ‘Keep remaining balance’ is made available in connection with accounts that reset ‘On a weekday’ or ‘On a month day’. By checking ’Keep remaining balance’ you will get the same ‘reset’ functionality as a periodical reset account.
When the account resets and this option is selected, the account balance isn't set to zero if the advanced set-up specifies a minimum or maximum balance. Instead, the balance is set to the specified minimum if it was less than that value, or to the maximum if it was over - if it was in between, the balance is kept unchanged. Any under- or overflow is transferred to the specified account as usual.
The sample screen illustrates an account that transfers any amount in excess of 17 hours to another account, while resetting its own balance to 17 hours. If the accounts balance is less than 17 hours and not negative, nothing is transferred, and the balance remains unchanged. If the balance is negative, it is reset to zero.
Customer benefits:
This new feature adds more flexibility to the users handling of accounts balances, by adding the option of resetting the balance between payroll payments.
This will also significantly reduce the amount of System Administration and set up.
Seniority filtering of absence, clock-in and clock-out related reasons
You can now assign minimum and maximum seniority values to the absence, clock-in and clock-out reasons. The seniority values are based on an employees’ Length of Service and are specified as a number of days, weeks, months or years. On any given day, only reasons allowed for the employee's seniority level (based on the employment date) can be used.
Customer benefits:
This new feature reduces the administration and limits errors when recording absence reasons, by only allowing absence to be recorded in accordance with the length of service of the person in question. This is useful when workers have absence rules based on their length of service.
New features in ProManagement
Day profiles with variable normtime interval
This new feature enables day profiles that do not have a fixed attendance profile. Break profiles can be adjusted according to the clock-in time. Furthermore, the rota does no longer need to divide evenly with 7 and Rotations can now be created with only 1 Day Profile
Customer benefits:
In certain industries (e.g. Service) the employees does not have a day profile with fixed clock in and out, but rather an interval for clock in and out times.
The new feature can give these companies a significant reduction of the number of day profiles, thus reducing the time used to update ProMark.
Floating breaks
This feature allows break times to be flexible within a certain time period (e.g. 2 hours) after clock-in instead of on a fixed time basis.
Customer benefits
Adds new flexibility to the handling of the employees’ Attendance Profile e.g. when working overtime.
New features in ProReport II
3 new reports to improve legislative compliance
Working Time Directive - 48 hour rule
This new report gives the option to enter max or min criteria for the average working time of any employee within a certain period.
The report has the option to highlight any employees who fail to conform to the legislation.
Working Time Directive - 11 hour rule
This new report can be used to measure the time between clock-out and the next clock-in – and vice versa.
The report has the option to highlight any employees who fail to conform to the legislation.
Working Time Directive - 8 hour rule
This new report can be used to measure the average number of work hours per day.
The report has the option to highlight any employees who fail to conform to the legislation.
Customer benefits:
New laws, such as the EU Working Time Directive and the Norwegian Arbeidsmiljoloven, impose certain rules upon business, which must be complied with. Examples of this might include how many hours employees can work during a certain period.
Companies that do not comply with the legislation can be issued fines.
The new reports enable companies to monitor its workforce and to take action to ensure compliance. Read more about the Working Time Directive
Repeated scheduling
The definition of Repeated Scheduling is based around an interface and functionality that closely mimics that which is used in other applications, e.g. Microsoft Outlook Calendar
Pattern: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly
Range: No End, Num Occurrence’s, End date
The interval can be set-up as absolute or relative dates.
The scheduled reports and the execution of these will be implemented in the normal scheduler.
Customer benefits:
The new feature will ease the report scheduling incredibly as repeated reports only needs to be set-up once and will run automatically at the scheduled date or interval.
This gives e.g. the possibility to make the same report the same weekday all year.
Flexible Grouping
An option to select how a report shall be grouped and sorted has been developed, based on the existing data on the Employee (as in ProReport I) – but without the seniority and aging groups.
Only those reports having employee related data will be addressed by this feature.
An early pre-view of the screen is shown below. Notice the fields on the right side.. The information is taken from the standard report specification. So if these aggregate functions are in-correct the user will have to alter the specification.
Customer benefits:
This new feature adds even more options to the use of ProReport II, by adding a number of new customizable criterions. It provides even more precise reporting ability.
It is now possible to sort and group reports based on all the information stored about the specific employee including e.g. gender, function and education etc.
Report: 'Absence per absence group'
Two new reports have been added, showing the absence distributed on the selected All-Day absence groups or Account groups. When using the All-Day absence groups, part-day absence is also included. When presented, All-Day absences will be presented in days - although if using account groups the report will convert any absence into hours.
Customer benefits:
The new reports enables all day absence to be split into several absence groups, which is useful if employees have several absence reasons for the same day.
Job reports on efficiency without dependency on amount registrations
The existing efficiency reports have been changed so that they do not require amount registrations in order to show the efficiency. All job reports where efficiency is calculated can be changed to calculate on expected amounts instead of registered amounts. To do this you must make a copy of the job report and change the report attribute 'Use planned numbers' to true.
The reports can be made including historic data.
Customer benefits:
Identifying how much time or actual cost you use for each order or operation is imperative in order to monitor and adjust your production, thus adding profitability to your business.
Possibility for only showing user defined reports (Tree view)
New features for grouping reports
The following features will be added, and it will be controlled on the Screen ’User setup’ -> ‘Rights’.
- Do not show the outer level
This will hide the report group names ‘Absence’, Balance’ etc. and the actual reports will be visible when opening ProReport II - Show ‘Recently used’
This will add a report group where the last 5 (max) used reports will be placed. - Show ‘Favourites’
Here it is possible for the user to add and remove reports to a group of ‘Favourites’
Reports to be shown
For every report in the system – both standard and customized, it will be possible to select which to be shown, depending on the user group.
Customer benefits:
The user defined tree view (Favourites) and the ‘Recently used’ will enable the user to get a clear overview of user relevant reports instead of navigating through a number of potentially irrelevant predefined reports.
The new functionality offered within this release enables the User to make their own, customisable reports, more easily.
Export to Microsoft Excel
When data is exported to Excel, a more exact ‘columnar’ representation of the base data is achieved, with pre-defined row headings available.
Customer benefits:
The data imported into Excel requires less editing by the users, making advanced reporting even easier.
New features in PC-Mark
User login
When a Pc-Mark terminal is configured as "Personal" you can now place an asterisk (*) in the employee number. The asterisk serves as a generic employee number, allowing the terminal to function as a terminal dedicated to a particular employee. Windows Log-In details are passed to ProMark to create a ‘personalised’ terminal for the User.
Customer benefits:
Besides the easier login for users, the new feature enables centralized maintenance of ProMark (e.g. system updates) to multiple users at one time. The new feature reduces the ProMark maintenance considerably.
Customized Log-In screen
It is possible to customize the Log-In screen with any required logo.
Customer benefits:
With this new feature you can introduce your own branded Log-In picture to employees. You can add your own logo, and even change colours.
New features in ProHost
Reporting to The Confederation of Danish Employers (DA)
In order to report absence (statutory requirement in Denmark) a new host-transaction will be created. The social security number (CPR) must be contained in the data from ProMark and a field for this information has been added. The field will be encrypted and only visible for selected users of ProMark. Furthermore an extension to the payroll code profile will be added to hold the special absence codes for DA.
Customer benefits:
To be compliant with the reporting demand to Danmarks Statistik as stated by the Confederation of Danish Employers (DA), companies must be able to collect and report absence reasons, which can be an administrative burden without a data-collection system. ProMark simplifies the reporting of absence reasons to public authorities.
