Lantmännen enters into group agreement with Mark Information
Lantmännen has entered into a group agreement with Danish company Mark Information that enables us to provide the ProMark time and production planning system to the group’s subsidiaries.
Behind this decision lies a general desire on the part of Lantmännen to reduce the range of different types of applications in use within the group. By providing ProMark to its subsidiaries, Lantmännen will achieve fast, reliable attendance reporting with daily follow-up, and consequently also the opportunity for more optimal planning production.
"A group agreement with ProMark enables us to provide our subsidiaries with a system solution on better terms than if we entered into separate agreements," explains Eva Schreiber from Lantmännen's joint IS function.
The strength of ProMark lies in its ability to integrate production planning with personnel planning, given that personnel and production are interlinked in reality. Traditionally, these types of programs keep the two functions separate.
Initially, the time & attendance features are put into operation. Stage two offers the opportunity to utilise the production planning function, enabling you to follow where in the production process the employees are, where there is available capacity etc. and thus to easily manage the personnel in order to achieve the most optimal production. Or you can follow exactly how many working hours a given product requires compared to another.
Vice President Henrik Trolle of Mark Information adds: "We are very pleased with this expression of Lantmännen's increasing trust and confidence in ProMark. A number of the subsidiaries already use ProMark and have had good experience with it. We believe this decision on the part of Lantmännen is the result of our innovative solution combined with the fact that we are a reliable, competent supplier."
The business segments that have used ProMark to date are Lantmännen Cerealia, Lantmännen Unibake, Lantmännen Kronfågel and most recently Lantmännen Doggy. In addition, a pilot project is currently under way at another subsidiary in readiness for an expected rollout in the autumn.
