ProMark and Windows Vista
Mark Information does not currently recommend Windows Vista as a platform for ProMark Clients
As a result of preliminary tests of ProMark with Windows Vista clients, we currently do not recommend Microsoft Vista as a suitably robust platform for ProMark clients.
The reason is that Progress OpenEdge 10.1A does not yet support Windows Vista. The release of Progress OpenEdge version 10.1B SP2 should correct these issues although the official release date of this version has not been made public yet.
However,it may be that ProMark and Windows Vista can co-exist without any issues although we will not guarantee compatibility at this point of time, nor guarantee the support of the application(s)
