Strong start of 2005 for Mark Information

Customer base increased with all time record of 42 new ProMark projects by the end of June

“The demand for our solutions for collecting accurate, timely performance data that makes it possible to maximize efficiency and profitability, are reaching new heights. So far this year we have got 42 new projects, setting a new company record and showing that our mission critical solutions are gaining more and more foothold in our key markets,” says CEO Carlos M. Christensen.
In 2004, Mark Information experienced a strong growth to its profits – and this year’s aggressive growth strategy is continuing.

“I strongly believe that some of our success can be contributed to the fact that we have a very clear ‘be global, act local’ strategy, where our Business Units in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and England act with strong local presence and customer service. We have also become better at serving our clients with cross boarder operations by strengthening the Key Account Management from one market to the other,” Carlos M. Christensen continues. Product development
In companies’ efforts to improve their operations as an effect of the increased competition from China and other low-salary countries, Mark Information is seeing an increase in customer demand for features that can make home market production even more effective. With the new head of R&D Niels Bredegaard on board the Management Team, Mark Information is even more focused at developing ProMark to support the customer’s critical operations. One of the areas of special interest to customers is interfacing between different software applications at the production floor. Mark Information is expanding on its expertise in this area and has initiated a pilot project within OPC, the universal standard within the field, with a number of Danish customers.

Brana
In order to improve focus and attention to the Brana product and to the many Brana users throughout Scandinavia, a new Brana Division has been formed recently. “The Brana product has more than 1000 customers throughout Scandinavia, and they deserve all the support and attention we can give them,” says Frederik Larsson, Interim Manager Brana International.
