Mark Group reaps the fruits of growth strategy
The Mark Group continues to show impressive results. Since the beginning of the year, 46 customers have signed contracts with the company, demonstrating the success of the reorganization and growth strategy launched earlier this year.
Exceeding any other result in the company’s history, the Mark Group has signed contracts with 46 customers since January 1st this year. The Mark Group, which is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of shop floor data collection and Time & Attendance systems, earlier this year reorganized the company and launched an ambitious growth strategy – a manoeuvre that has had outstanding effect.
By focusing on strong local presence, customer service and better use of the company’s strong competencies, the Mark Group has succeeded in capturing market shares in all of its target markets. Contracts have been signed with companies in Denmark, Sweden and Norway as well as the UK, where a new sales organization has been built during the year and is now under the leadership of Paul Doherty who was appointed managing director of the local sales office in late 2004.
- The company is definitely on the right track and I am very proud of the achievements we have made. They are an outright result of our strategy and the reorganization we made. We have built a customer-driven organization with thorough market understanding and industry leading solutions and this makes us a very strong player, says Group President and CEO Carlos M. Christensen.
Since January 1st 2004 the Mark Group has signed contracts with among others the Lindø shipyard, Beauvais and Brdr. Hartmann in Denmark, Rockwool and SAS Gardermoen in Norway, Cerealia and SAS Arlanda in Sweden, and Unichem, Smith Aerospace and Carrington Wire in the UK.
