ProMark Portal

ProMark Portal is a new way to access the powerful and complex business logic in ProMark. The Portal greatly reduces the need for education and enables the use of ProMark to a group of employees who previously did not have access to ProMark.

ProMark Portal is designed for supporting role-based scenarios so that tabs and web-parts are adapted to the individual user.

Possibilities In PROMARK PORTAL

According to function areas as well as areas of responsibility, employess are given access to the various parts of ProMark Portal:

  • Registration of attendance and absence
  • Overview of e.g. flexitime, holiday and illness
  • Activity registration
  • Approval of absence
  • Attendance overview
  • Correction of registrations

ProMark Portal - your personal entry

In other words: Employees can now book their holidays and have their plans approved by management. Approval of absence and reasons is easily done online.

ProMark Portal design

ProMark Portal will not substitute the way ProMark is used today or the way the users access ProMark. All known functionality and access possibilities will still be available, but the Portal opens up ProMark to the entire company – something only a few business applications can do today.

The new users of the ProMark application will use the same business logic and get their data validated with the exact same rules – thus eliminating any risk of making mistakes.

Roles in ProMark Portal

ProMark Portal currently supports three roles:

  • Employees
  • Approvers
  • Managers

More roles will be added over time, but the roles and functions will always be designed in a way that no installation or education is required.

The more advanced features in ProMark will still use other access points, such as a Windows client.

Personalisation of ProMark Portal

Another characteristic within ProMark Portal is the possibility for each employee or manager to personalize his own view.

ProMark Portal via your Intranet

ProMark Portal is suitable for incorporating into a company’s existing intranet via the Web part design. The individual parts of the Portal can be exposed on the intranet without having to support more Portals.
